Snowsfields had an Ofsted inspection on 28th November 2017. Above is a copy of the letter.
Because Snowsfields was already judged as a good school at our previous inspection in 2013, we only had a one day inspection with one inspector. The purpose was to see if the school remained a good school and to follow five lines of enquiry that came from our last inspection, the National agenda and current school data. This is also why we only received a letter giving us feedback and not a full report with individual grades for each area.
As you will read, the inspector was extremely impressed with our school and what we continue to achieve. Snowsfields continues to be a good school. School Leaders have “very high expectations of all pupils” and have made “significant improvements” towards the areas identified at the previous inspection. Teachers “have the confidence to teach to the highest level”. The behaviour of pupils around the school and in lessons is “impeccable”.
We agree that Snowsfields provides an excellent education for all our pupils in a safe, caring and inclusive environment, where there is “a culture of vigilance for keeping children safe” and that “all staff are relentless in the actions they take” to ensure this happens.
We are always looking at ways we can improve our provision and will continue on our journey to be recognised as an outstanding school.

In school we carry out an annual Parent and Pupil Survey.
Here are the results from our latest survey carried out in November 2017.
The results are also published in our Annual Report to Parents which you can find on the curriculum page.
